I wasn't to happy with the code situation as I was told I would be sent the code but was given the wrong one. Therefore had to wait 30mins to sort that out with booking.com
NZExceptional and convenient stay with a breathtaking lake view. The dining area, living room, and kitchen are spacious, tidy, and beautifully maintained. The toilet and bath are clean and easily accessible. 🥰
Nothing to complain about , we loved everything 🥰 Just a small suggestion for the kitchen, it would be great to have a few more large cooking pots and pans for big families staying over. Otherwise, everything was perfect😊

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding our recent stay from 29 July-2 August .We booked this property for a group of 11 people (6 adults and 5 children), and unfortunately, our experience was significantly affected by a major issue that was not disclosed prior to booking. We arrived late after a long drive from Christchurch and hoped to rest and recover. However, starting from the very next morning at 7:00 AM, loud construction work began directly opposite the property. The noise from drilling and heavy machinery was extremely disruptive and continued every morning throughout our 4-night stay. This made it impossible for anyone—especially the children—to sleep or relax properly, severely affecting our holiday experience. I contacted the host via Booking.com and was advised to send an email, which I did. I only received one response, stating that the construction was out of their control. While I do understand this, I believe the responsible and courteous action would have been to inform guests in advance—either on the listing or before check-in—so we could have made an informed decision and possibly booked another property. We paid a premium price of $3,280 NZD for 4 nights, and for that cost, we expected a peaceful and comfortable stay. I also sent a follow-up message requesting compensation but have not received any response. I am now requesting that Booking.com review this case and consider issuing a partial refund or compensation due to the significant inconvenience. I have saved all communication and also have video recordings of the construction and the noise levels, which I am happy to provide.
