Zen Boutique House

The delux family room was spacious. The room was tidy with clean towels. The pool was cool and refreshing and worth every dollar. The most important and best thing about this location was a complementary breakfast. The menu matched the presentation. The staff was friendly and prompt.

We had problems with the toilet. The bathroom could have been a little bit cleaner. There was a bit of a communication barrier and a misunderstanding. We thought that we were able to stay till 12:30, for later a check out. However we were asked to leave at 12 o’clock.

Lovely clean comfy room with air con and fan and shower. Very central and close to the river. Very kind and helpful hosts. Very good value for money. Luang Prabang is beautiful and you can easily walk everywhere central from the guesthouse. Delicious breakfast too.

Paid extra for a balcony room and looked down on a pile of rubbish

We absolutely loved our stay here and still can’t believe some of the negative comments we read in the reviews. We stayed 4 nights and everything was perfect! The location is amazing and really central, but away from the noise. You can reach anywhere in the city on foot in just a few minutes. There are cafes / restaurants etc right around the corner. Great river views and a beautiful temple basically on the same street. 2 swimming pools and a nice breakfast area, the breakfast is also really going. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the rooms were cleaned everyday. Top notch!

Not much to add here . Maybe that they only accept US dollar or credit card payment which has a 3% charge. But, that’s a small issue.

The location was perfect

Toilet was blocked for two days despite asking for it to be fixed the pool had dead lizards floating in it when I went to use it I was absolutely eaten alive by something in the room which I ended needing to see a doctor for there was building work going on right outside the room so for a few days at 7 or 8 am there was a guy using a kango hammer there was lumps of concrete left all over the steps to my room which I almost broke my ankle on one night coming in overall a very disappointing experience and I don’t think I would go back there

We are not happy with this accomodation because of dirty uncleaned bathroom with long standing bad smelling water on the floor, not cleaned refrigerator.

The property was perfectly hidden of a busier street but super close to all the main spots nearby including phousi hill, night market, muesum and more. The rooms were super clean and spacious, balcony was an added bonus. The pool was lovely and clean. And staff were incredible and helpful.
