We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The location on the coast is stunning, with breathtaking views and a truly peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were excellent – we especially loved the fabulous pool, private balconies, and the well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy to enjoy meals together. The outdoor social space was also perfect for relaxing and spending time as a group. There were a couple of minor issues during our stay: a leaking tap, which was quickly replaced within a day, and some aspects of the property felt a little tired, such as outdoor lighting and a few loose sockets. However, these did not detract from the overall experience. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to reach via WhatsApp whenever we needed assistance. Overall, the villa felt like pure luxury – a relaxing little slice of paradise. We would definitely recommend it and look forward to revisiting in the future.

It’s worth noting that the villa is very remote. The nearest Taverna is just over a mile away, so transport is essential. For us, this added to the sense of seclusion and tranquility but if you’re looking for walkable Tavernas or nightlife, this may not be the right spot.

To be fair, the only positive aspect was the location itself. The house is indeed set in a quiet and somewhat secluded area, with a nice view of the surroundings and, from certain points, you could even see the sea in the distance. It had the potential to be a truly relaxing retreat, away from the noise and crowds. The position of the house could have been a real selling point – it felt private, peaceful, and naturally beautiful. Unfortunately, all of this potential was completely ruined by the shocking lack of cleanliness, the infestation of ants, the dampness, and the overall negligence in maintaining the property. What could have been a dream stay in a beautiful setting turned into a nightmare simply because the hosts have no respect for basic hygiene and guest comfort.

I want to start by saying that I am absolutely shocked by what I found at this accommodation. The entire house was literally infested with ants – in the kitchen, in the bathroom, crawling up the walls, on the stairs, even in the bedrooms. Everywhere you looked, there were lines of insects marching around as if we were the intruders in their colony, not paying guests. As for cleanliness – it was completely nonexistent. Every corner of the house was covered in thick dust, hair, and dirt, clearly untouched by a mop or vacuum for months. It was disgusting. The bathrooms were even worse: mold spreading across the walls, heavy dampness with an unbearable musty smell, black mold between the tiles, and a shower that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The sanitary items were old, stained, and sticky to the touch. In the bedroom, I checked the mattress myself out of fear of what I might find – luckily no stains – but how can you possibly relax when the entire environment around you is filthy and unhygienic? I even took pictures, because otherwise it would be hard to believe that such a place could actually be listed on Booking. The living room walls showed clear signs of dampness and mold, and the smell of mildew was impossible to ignore. How can a house in such condition be allowed to be rented without a single warning? The outdoor area, although naturally nice, was just as neglected – garden furniture stained and dirty, the floor covered in old grime, everything looking abandoned and unkept. The house is spread over two levels, but neither of them was in a condition even remotely acceptable. It honestly looked like no one had taken proper care of this property for a very long time. And yet, the price charged is outrageous for what is essentially a health hazard. I cannot understand how Booking allows such a property to be listed. The photos online do not reflect reality at all, and I feel completely misled.
