Serene River Hoian

Nous avons été attendus tard le soir par Hoa. Elle ne nous connaissait pas et pourtant nous a aidé face un taxi crapuleux. Merci Hoa de ta gentillesse. Et cette gentillesse s'est avérée tout au long du séjour. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les matelas epais et confortables. Tout y est.

Clean somewhat quiet and nice cleaning lady .

Mixed feelings about Serene River Villa Hoi An. It is a shame that such a cozy property with a nice cleaning and service lady had to paired with a remote English speaking manager who made our stay there more stressful than peaceful. Especially with a guest intending to stay for a month or longer, our expectations in terms of accommodation and customer service were not met at all. Instead, this manager made us feel stressed, confused and uncared for and acted very unprofessionally even complaining that we bothered her on her Sunday. At the end of the day, when she decided to give up on a month or two’s worth of booking for one night of booking because of her lack of flexibility and foresight, though it was hassle to move last minute we were relieved to be able to move to a place more welcoming and grateful for a long term guests. To the owner of this property, bear in mind that your English speaking staff in charge needs serious customer service and soft skills training. Because of her actions you lost 60-90 days of booking because of her demeanor, confusing and condescending communication style.

The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and modern. The bed was very comfortable. We got a free room upgrade. The hotel staff were super friendly and the breakfast was really good. The location was good — right between the beach and the old town.

There was plenty if hot water but the temperature adjustment on the shower was quite difficult to get right.

Great location, friendly staff,even though they did not speak english and our Viatnamese is lacking we all coped. The rooms where large clean a comfortable. The pool was a bonus, as was the use of bicycles to get into Hoi An. Great place to stay.

Excellent comfort. Good & quiet location. Easy to visit Hoi An surrounding with a motobike. Very nice pool.

Our host Ms Thao was an excellent host. She helped us a lot with a lot of advice. She arranged our visit to My Son, and the rental of a motobike for 3 days so that we can go easily from the Villa to different places around Hoi An. She offered us breakfast the day we left & booked a taxi to go to our next destination.
