"Absolutely loved this authentic Italian Villa! Stunning views over Sorrento!"

10.0

The Villa was absolutely gorgeous! As per the pictures. Terraces and the view were magnificent! Very authentic italian villa experience. Very comfortable home.

Location was up a windy cliff road - you will need a car to access this property.

"A Slice of Sorrento Paradise – We’re Still Dreaming of Villa Ada!"

10.0

Our stay at Villa Ada was the perfect ending to our 2-week voyage through the sizzling lands of Italy. After navigating the narrow, winding roads of the Amalfi Coast (cue the Mario Kart soundtrack), we arrived at this gem of a villa, which was spotless and were met with views so stunning that we considered never leaving.
Before our arrival, we connected with the villa owner, Ivana, who mentioned some enticing extras we could add to our stay. Yoga, massages, boat tours, a hiking tour—they knew how to hook it up. We opted for the Private Chef (worth every calorie), 2 blissful massages (still feeling zen), and 2 unforgettable boat days. We HIGHLY recommend taking their advice on activities—it’s like having a local best friend who actually knows what they’re doing. The highlight? Our last night. A private dinner after our Capri boat day, deliciously prepared, and the warmest welcome from the family during the night! It was a lovely suprise!
In short, Villa Ada wasn’t just a place to stay; it was the best part of our trip. We can’t wait to be back, hopefully sooner than our credit cards would like!

Property was great but about an 8 min taxi ride to town.

"We unfortunately found mould in the air conditioner."

1.0

The town of Sorrento is lovely with its cobblestone streets and delightful shops and restaurants.

This is the first negative review we have ever written. We have used and trusted Booking.com for years. With this place, we discovered mould throughout the air conditioner. We had to leave for this reason. We're disappointed the owner refused to refund us in full. We had hoped for kinder, more considerate treatment. This was the only negative experience we had in Italy.

"Amazing view of the Bay of Naples, lovely traditional farmhouse features."

10.0

Spectacular view from the terrace. Original features of an Sorrentine farmhouse. Air conditioners great in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Very friendly owner and daughter - easy communication. Lots of space, lovely cool tiled floors.

The walk up the Via Capodimonte - it took 15 minutes from the main road (total about 25 mins to town/40 mins to station) and was tough in 30 c and the direct sun (note that google maps doesn't show this as a walking route, it is much quicker and shorter than the main road). We had a car which made going to the nearby beaches straighforward. We didn't find an easy drive in supermarket though. The kitchen was very old style supplemented with new appliances which was fascinating but not as easy to operate as a modern kitchen.
