Casa Laud Chacahua Isla

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Laud—it felt like paradise! Our room was so close to the ocean that we could hear the waves at all times. The view was breathtaking, and with the main center just 10 minutes away, it was the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and convenience. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel at home with their delicious home-cooked meals. We were truly sad to leave but know we’ll be back in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great location a short walk down the beach. Super friendly owner.

I liked the outdoor area, the family were super sweet and accommodating. Everything clean and good decoration/interior design.

Only complaint was lack of AC but this is typical in Mexico and not many places in chacahua have one

Great location, friendly host

We had such a wonderful stay at Casa Laud! You’re right on the beach, just a short walk from the main town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there’s water pressure in the shower (which can be hard to come by here)! Irma and Oscar are wonderful hosts who are so warm and welcoming and help make your stay comfortable. They have really worked hard to make this place a small haven in paradise. There’s a little spot near the water with hammocks and places to lounge in the shade. The rooftop is the perfect place to watch the sunrise/sunset or gaze at the stars at night. Wifi is good and the bed and pillows are cozy! Irma helped us set up a boat tour of the mangroves and a ride out to the ocean. You must try Irma’s cooking, it’s so good and feels like home! Just ask her for the menu. We would (and will!) come back every time we visit Chacahuua.

Nada! Everything was perfect

The location is perfect and very quiet. 10to15 mins walk from CENTRO. The view from the balcony and roof top is amazing. The room is clean and stocked towels,soap and shampoo. The owner couple is very kind and amazing. I was treated like a family. All the food Irma cooked was delicious.

The hosts are very sweet and welcoming. The beach area is very cozy and well looked after. We were able to get a variety of vegan meals. The evenings are quiet, the bed is comfortable. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

A few details and amenities in the rooms were still missing: no bedside lamps, only one bedside table, not enough hooks for clothing, the curtains were hard to pull closed/open; nothing major, though.
