Charming old house in a pittoresque village. Nicely decorated room. Espresso maker available. Friendly host, nice view from the balcony. Many plants.

If you're visiting when it's cold: The hot water for the shower only worked sometimes (once the host said a circuit had tripped and it was reset, but the boiler still didn't work properly). The heating was also not strong enough, so that the room was never warm comfy. I could feel the metal springs of the mattress which was a bit uncomfortable. There's a restaurant right beneath the room. It was quite noisy (even though I understand that it was Saturday night). Despite these downsides we had a great stay in Arcumeggia.

I think this is by far one of my favorite places so far!!! Cozy, adorable little, authentic room, courtyard, and village. Extremely friendly owners and neighbor. Great start- Point for many hikes, perfect place to escape the busy day to day craziness, and the entire village is an open-air Art Museum. And still only 30min from Luino. Thank You so much for this amazing experience. P.s. although it is a very old building and a traditional room, the water was almost immediately hot, it was nice and warm in the room, and the coffee was to die for ❤️

I personally loved it, but it is worth mentioning that You have only to 2 ways to get to Arcumeggia and both roads are very winding, narrow, steep, and without any additional light sources (for those arriving at night). It is safe and the road is in great condition. You just need to take your time, that's all. It's typical and also very picturesque, but just a heads up for anxious or unexperienced drivers. But absolutely worth it!!

Very friendly owner who cooked our evening meal. Lovely traditional home in a wonderful mountain village. Lots of cats and a lovely dog. Really quiet and away from it all.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable but otherwise all good.

Everything was perfect, maybe just one thing that could be added is a small fridge.
