Apartment Old Town Topolowa

The decor is nice and the powerful shower and bathroom were great.

We booked this property for a few hours as we had a late flight and wanted to freshen up. I’m glad we left early as there would have been absolutely no chance of getting to sleep in this place (we were in flat 1 by the main entrance). We could hear every conversation going on outside. The “court yard” views is just that, the keys don’t allow you outside, had to go through the main hallway to get there. The Wi-Fi is a joke and just did not work at all. The biggest issue is there is no bedroom, it’s 2 sofa beds in the living space and that’s it. This is for 4 people. This place is meant for younger travellers. Don’t be fooled by the photos. Zero privacy in this place.

Location was perfect. One minute from central bus station (to go to to Auschwitz) and 3 minutes of walk from central railway station (to go to the airport and to salt mine Wieliczka). 10 minutes of walk from Krakow Old Town. The apartment was spacious and clean. Although the beds were a couch, they were very comfortable. Collecting the keys was easy. The owner answers to messages ASAP when you get to the apartment and is at your service all the time.

Wi-Fi doesn't work at all. If you don't have your own data, that could be a problem. I would recommend putting another mirror or two in the hallway so that when group of girls stay they don't have to wait for bathroom to put on their make-up. A trash bin in the bathroom would also be a plus. I would just want to add that when you enter the code at the building door (2 numbers, key button, 4 number), you need to hold the key button, not just press it. That wasn't specified in the message, but I figured it out.

Very well maintanted, photos mostly reflect the current look of the place, apartament spacious enough, comfortable bathroom. Kitchen annex was equipped sufficiently.

As in the description, there are sofa beds only so the comfort of sleeping is limited (though the sofas were ok). The apartment is on ground floor next to a staircase and the old stylish door is not soundproof at all, so it gets noisy, you can hear all people coming in and out of the building.

Great location close to the old town. Very easy to find.

It feels old and worn - the walls have signs of water leaks, the toilet door can't be properly closed, the shower is nasty. The mattress is uncomfortable. The ventilation in the toilet pulls in cigarette fumes from the outside. The apartment located on the first floor and the walls are so thin you will get to know all your neighbours in no time. Last but not least, we've requested a company invoice for our stay but the host became unresponsive as soon as we checked out.
