Hidden Monkey Stays Darjeeling, Batasia

I just want to say “it’s truly worth it.” The only thing to consider is the distance, but its offbeat location actually makes it even more special. The hospitality was beyond expectations, I’ve never experienced such warmth, even if you after spending 20k elsewhere. Honestly, I highly recommend everyone to visit this property, especially if you’re looking for a place that genuinely feels like home.

Accessibility was straightforward. The hosts were responsive. The aloo paratha served for breakfast was delicious.

It's kinda far from the city center.

The room was clean, spacious, had a balcony, staff was helpful.

The location was poor, on the train tracks hence made lot of noise and pollution, also far from the town. Had problems with plumbing and water came in the bathroom was little & not clean.

Nice host, quite a bit of freedom. They gave me a heater which was nice of them. Free water. Warm shower. Good value for money, but I wouldn't stay there for numerous time.

Location was about an hour walk from Darjeeling, and not a nice walk either (on a main road). It got cold during the night, very noisy from the road, but this is to be expected. Nothing was able to dry.

1. The private room which was provided to me on the top floor. It had two big balconies and a big window overlooking the Kanchanjanga and the Mt Everest. 2. Is the kind of service they provided. 3. Homely and healthy yet tasty food.

I did not like the location. From the hotel the Mall road is at a distance of 4 Kms.
