Waves Guest Suites

The location was great for walking along the west coast. Vazon Bay just on the doorstep perfect for an evening stroll as the sun went down. This apartment was great for a family birthday celebration. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal sat out on the terrace.

Location The kitchen was good.

The room was sold as a family room but had only one double bed and a single inflatable bed.

Studio flat was exceptionally small for 2 people. The bed was right in front of full front windows and door so everyone could see you in bed as they walked past unless you kept curtains closed. There was a v small fold down table attached to side of sink but you had to move the tub chair out the way and bring a chair in from outside unless it had been raining! Once table up you could not get round to anything. Crockery and cutlery was very random and seemed all odds and ends . There was really only room for 1 person. For how much we paid it was not value for money.

Location was lovely. Very quiet and relaxing.

Very helpful and responsive host, immediately showing up to resolve minor problems. Our unit was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the fan for the days that were warm.

Not the resort's fault, but frankly, we hadn't researched enough for this trip. For folks like us using public transportation, we didn't fully appreciate how far to the nearest café or grocery store, and how relatively little to see and do for non-beach goers. There was a bus stop at the entrance to the property, but no bench or schedule, and although ok during the day (and we did see the most of the main forts and museums) not at all convenient to go to and from the one main town, Saint Peter Port, for dinner.
