NLThe room is new, nice carpet and a comfy bed. Everything is clean. The common living area is a great place. Lots of room for not so many people. The kitchen is well equipped and modern. Shared bathroom has a good shower and is clean. We could use the washing machine in the common area free of charge. Compared to other guesthouses in Ulaanbaatar we stayed in, the standard is high here, for a good price.
Only thing is sometimes it was hard to sleep because of the noise from the trains

I booked for 6 nights in advance (a month before the trip) and received a confirmation from the host. But upon the arrival the host changed to 5 days saying she decided to close the hostel for a break. That was not a nice surprise. Since I was already in Ulaanbaatar and it was still the high season it took me a lot of time and efforts to find a good accommodation in the center. If I knew the hostel is available for only 5 nights, then I would book another one in advance easily with no need to move out and move in to another place. So be prepared that the host can change the details on her side any time, unfortunately.
