Hen House

Cute cosy little cabin and beautiful location. Great for walks and amazing views. The hosts are super kind and friendly. Very compassionate regarding my autistic son. Extremely knowledgeable about things to do and where to eat. Cabin was clean and tidy. Kitchen is stocked well with crockery, cooking utensils, pots and pans so I was able to make breakfast and lunch and order takeaway for dinner, but could have cooked that, too. Lots of special little touches are there upon arrival such as, milk in the fridge, coffee, teas, sugar, sweetener, biscuits, chocolate, crisps and fruit. Washing up liquid, sponges, cloths, tea towels and oven gloves, even foil, clingfilm and sandwich bags. Literally everything you need plus condiments and oil were there too! Tina even bought a flower plant that I'll be planting in my garden tomorrow. Can't wait to visit again. Tina, Mark and Sarah were a pleasure to meet.

The side roads to get there and to the main road, are quite pot hole riddled so next time we'll take the 4x4 as our car is very low to the ground so not the best vehicle to get there.

as it was for my mother and my self it was rather awkward as its was an open plan bungalow and had no doors for the two bedrooms

on one night a ladder leaning against the bungalow roof kept hitting the building which kept us awake all night .

The quiet peaceful surroundings and well-equipped cottage. Friendly hosts, happy to help in anyway. It was nice to have the little extras such as milk,tea/coffee,condiments and a disposable BBQ, all welcomed.

Overall nothing. We would have preferred a conventional oven but with a BBQ that didn't really matter. The internet was at times patchy.

The location is great and the facilities were amazing

abs beautiful. hosts were really friendly and kind even left us a bottle of wine flowers and card for our anniversary. the house was supplied with toiletries towels pots and pans ect everything we needed , even a bbq in the forest , which you are able to adventure out in . the area is so peaceful .defo recommend
