Il Relais

One of the most beautiful and spacious rooms I have ever stayed in - thoughtfully decorated with sumptuous fabrics and finishes. Every detail was thought of including a bowl of fresh fruit and chocolates, robes and slippers. Great location with balconies overlooking the Castelvecchio. And if that weren't enough, it is managed by the wonderful, warm Naima, who is at the ready to help with whatever you might need. This is a one-of-a-kind, absolutely exceptional lodging.

Il Relais is truly one of the most beautiful hotels. Our room was stunning, the bed was perfect, the view was green and lush, the breakfast was delicious. If you care about your surroundings and if you love art and décor, this is the place for you. Every detail has been considered, from the wallpaper to the art on the walls and the books on the shelves. But perhaps the nicest part of our stay was our host, Naima, who took impeccable care of us. From the moment we arrived, she could not have been more gracious and helpful--from walking us through a detailed map of Verona and suggesting where we might visit, to making the most delicious (and stunningly beautiful) breakfast in the morning. She is a delight. We highly recommend this special, special place.
