Met bobs wife Wen we arrived very nice lady The house is beautiful spotless inside The bed I slept in was so comfy I would definitely recommend Bob's place to anyone having a short break in Whitehaven thank you so much for having us we will be back

There is nothing not to like

The apartment was very well appointed . Bob was very welcoming and helpful.

The location was a little bleak but made up for as was so convenient for the lakes and coast

Great property with friendly owner

Good location for exploring the town, coast and inland, super friendly hosts (one of the best welcomes I've ever known), spotlessly clean accommodation, off-street parking, views over the town and the Scottish Hills in the distance, overall good value for money for us.

The lift to and from the town was much appreciated. You have control of the heating which was very efficient. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. It was quiet.

Bit far from Whitehaven, on an estate, but there was a bus stop near by. Needs a bedside lamp, only light switch is by the door. A lamp in the living area and a picture on the wall would make it more homely. It was basically clean but the bath was dirty and there were a few cobwebs.

Very helpful host, the lift to and from the town was much appreciated. Good size flat, warm and comfy. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of hot water. Good heating system. Large TV. General clean.

It wasn't where I thought it would be. 1.2 miles from Whitehaven, on the edge of a large housing estate. The bath dirty and a few cobwebs. The sharp points of the feathers in the duvet kept sticking in me.

Brilliant apartment for good price, very clean and organised.
