I had an amazing experience staying at Bob’s Place! The apartment was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and everything was exactly as described. I’d definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay.

This is a little gem. Wish we’d found it sooner. Morrisons small shop a minute away for any bits, kitchen there to make food, spotlessly clean.

Nothing to dislike.

Clean, with all the amenities you could want. Stayed here to start a bike trip and the provided bike shed was a welcome addition.

A bit out of town but this wasn't a big issue for us

L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce, très propre et bien équipé. On pourrait y vivre à l'année. Très bon contact avec Bob et son épouse, malgré la réservation de dernière minute moins d'une heure avant notre arrivée. Nous avons même eu droit à du lait frais pour notre thé. Merci Bob.

None it was great

Bob is a very welcoming host. The flat was spotless. There was milk and bottled water in the fridge aswell as tea, coffee and cereal for the morning. There is a small morrisons shop 1 minute away for other provisions.

Just a minor point - you can walk into town easily but get a taxi back as the hill is quite steep!!

A fantastic self contained apartment in the suburbs of Whitehaven, very well equipped with everything that you'd need. Comfortable beds, one twin room and one single room, spacious enough for 3, car parking space right outside, very quiet neighbourhood. The snack bars, hot chocolate, coffee and teas were a nice touch. Towels and toiletries were provided. Bob and his wife met us to hand over the keys, superbly welcoming and hospitable, they showed us where everything was and how the shower worked etc. There is a mini Morrisons a few minutes walk away, it's about 20 minutes walk into Whitehaven town (steep-ish hill if walking back up but buses and taxi's available if needed). Exceptional all round, happy to recommend and definitely somewhere we'd stay again when we're in the area.
