Villa Aera Mykonos

Stunning location, beautifully renovated boutique hotel on a site of ancient ruins, the best sunset views from the rooftop pool, very close walking distance to all the best bars, restaurants and shops but the room was very well insulated that we heard absolutely zero noise when inside.

Host was very communicative and available on whatsapp which made it very flexible and easy. The Villa is beautiful, with a prime location and amazing views (sunset, sea and ruins). Eva and Roberto are great people who made sure our stay was unforgettable.

Very unique location in an archeologic site, the owners spent 5 years remodeling this building, which I believe has 3 rentable rooms. It has a very family-oriented vibe to it as the owners live upstairs and very much enjoy hosting and want to be a part of your journey. The property is absolutely stunning. Coming in early August, the wind was ripping through here as the location is right on the water, so be prepared for some wind noise and noise from nearby clubs at night. Eva was helpful in offering advice and helping me plan which beach clubs to attend, and left me a very sweet and unexpected birthday gift while I stayed here. Since this is in the old village, there is no car access, so if you're arriving/departing by car/taxi/bus, you will need to walk a ways (10-15 mins) on cobblestone streets with your luggage to the property.

Rehberlikleri adadan daha çok keyif almamızı sağladı. Villa Aera hem adanın kalbinde, hem de kalabalıktan uzak, sessiz bir noktada. Aslında eski şehirin girişindeki bir kilisenin arkasında, şehre giriş yolunun kalıntılarının içindesiniz. Ören yerinde, geçmişe saygılı, özenle yapılmış bir ev. Bir mimar olarak detaylara ve uygulamadaki prezisyona hayran kaldım. Terasta adanın rüzgarını hissedip, limanı seyretmek, gün batımının keyfini çıkarmak unutulmaz bir deneyim oldu. Oda gayet konforlu, tertemiz, detaylı düşünülerek hazırlanmış. Villa Aera'yı kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. Zaten görünce hoşunuza gidecek. Ev sahiplerini ise daha çok seveceksiniz. İşlerinin başında, nazik ve ilgililer.

A luxury property with a beautiful view on the sea and harbour from the terrasse. It is one of the oldest house of Mykonos that Eva and Roberto , the owners renovated with a high high level of comfort and a nice design touch. My stay was very relaxing, I slept very well thanks for the quality of the window and doors and the smooth AC. All the best restaurants and bars are within 5 min walk through the nice pedestrians streets of the old city . Of course in that secluded area , there are no roads , hence no cars. Roberto welcomed me on arrival and gave me many insights about the things to see , the beaches and preferred restaurants. He even offered me to join his daily walk to a nearby beach which was a nice walk. I followed his restaurants recommendations and was very pleased with one especially ... For breakfast , there are many offerings nearby , my preference was for the Mykonos Brunch Club , fresh and healthy . I will come back for sure !

This was my 4th trip to Mykonos. I've stayed in a different place each time, but Villa Aera is my favourite. I will stay here again. Stylish, comfortable, and luxurious with charming, kind and very helpful hosts. Eva and Roberto made me feel very welcome. It was like a home away from home. A beautiful retreat in the headiness of Mykonos.

It's a tiny bit annoying having to battle through the ltourists in the lane ways of Little Venice. But that has nothing to do with the property. I really can't complain.

Eva & Roberto were the perfect hosts. They made us feel welcome as soon as we got there. The right mix of being present - available for anything we needed - and giving us privacy. They know Mykonos so well and provided brilliant recommendations and tips of places to go, where to eat, and the best time of day. Everything about the stay was perfect. The villa is stunning - beautiful design, and the best location in town.

Couldn't fault anything. I almost didn't want to write this review because I'm worried next time we go to book the villa will be full! Nothing to fault whatsoever.
