Tirta Mumbul Villa

It's a hidden gem. We were a bit nervous booking because there wasn't many reviews at the time. When we got there we found out it was because they were newly opened. You wouldn't even know it was there. It's down a side street and hidden in between the buildings. They have signs up, but it will bring you to a car/bike garage with a sliding door. Once you open it, you'll see the place, but when it's closed, it's not as obvious it's there. It was very quiet when we were there, so we mostly had the pool to ourselves. The rooms were very comfortable and great value for money. We will definitely be back and have already told friends.

Nothing bad, everything was great. But something to be aware of is that there are a handful of different private rooms and then a communal kitchen and small pool area. ( We were just a little unsure before we arrived as to if we were going to have our own pool or sharing). If it's full up and everyone's using the communal areas, I'm sure it could get busy and loud, but we were basically on our own while there, so it was lovely and peaceful 🙌

The villa is gorgeous; just like the pictures. It's far enough away from the main (very busy!) road that you don't hear road noise and can enjoy a peaceful stay.

When we arrived (and we had emailed our ETA the day before, although we got in an hour later than expected due to flight delay), there was no one around. We called both of the Whatsapp numbers listed on the wall and no one answered. We had to wait about 15 minutes before someone finally showed up. Definitely not an ideal welcome. The other minor negative: the bathroom light is very dim so you can barely see yourself in the mirror. If you want anything, such as a hair dryer or iron, ask for it well in advance, because they may take a few hours to see your message and respond.

This place is a complete hidden gem It is just the perfect place it is spotlessly clean, peaceful ,and has a fully equipped kitchen should you need it.

There Is nothing not to like probably the best homestay so far we are well impressed 👏
