Fortune Riverview Hotel Chiang Khong

Room, view and very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal place to stay if you are coming from Luang Prabang.

Most of what should have been hot at breakfast was cold, but staff did provide freshly cooked eggs when this was pointed out.

Nice hotel, good location with views of the mekong River. Comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant.

Lobby and restaurant had a nice view of the river and including breakfast was great as there are not a lot of restaurants nearby.

Hotel complexes are dated and not well maintained. Lots of dirt and cobwebs in the open air hallways. Place could use a refresh. Beds were not comfortable and air conditioners make a lot of noise. Internet never worked for us. Kept dropping off. Pool size is good but a bit gloomy. No view of the river. It is in between buildings so you only have concrete to look at. Not very enticing. No sun at all on the pool

The rooms are very big with a cute balcony overlooking the river. Just in front of the hotel, you can walk along the river and find lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. Being slightly out the town means it’s very peaceful too.

The pool is almost always in shade so the water is so, so cold.

Borrowing bikes and cycling by the Mekong.

Breakfast was average-not a 4* breakfast.
