Amazing location with beautiful view! The cottage was very clean and has everything we need. A great place to stay. Would love to visit again next year.

Lovely location , plenty of space , property owner was kind and helpful .ease of access .

It was very cold on arrival , took quite a while to heat up the space , I would suggest asking owner to preheat the place in the colder months before arrival . Needed a little bit more cleaning as it was somewhat dusty

• Large lounge/dining room • Separate kitchen, excellently kitted out • Good-sized bedroom, lots of cupboard space, very comfortable bed • Very warm - almost immediate radiator heating • Good electric shower • Amazing views!

• Struggled to get enough hot water for a bath • Single track road up to the property with few passing places

Location of property. Right in middle of countryside. Located above a reservoir offering superb views out across the valley. Access is via very narrow twisty lanes. Use your horn in a car, drive slowly. Area was very quiet. Just what we were looking for. Good walking country. Definitely will go back there in the future. House was well laid out. Decent sized, well equipped kitchen. Sleeping areas well furnished. Bathroom/shower room good size, well equipped as well. We also chose this place as it was dog friendly. The location had an area where dogs could wander off leash, though beyond that area they needed to remain on leash as it is a working sheep farm.

Probably the only thing I wasn’t quite prepared for was the narrowness of the lanes. But once I’d navigated them for the first time, I got used to them pretty quickly after that . Interestingly, motorists coming the other way are generally polite and accommodating when it comes to reversing to the nearest passing point.

Was given instructions for electric gate entry and key safe number the day before in easy to understand instructions. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Everything we needed was in property, including bedding, towels, toiletries and toilet roll. Every pot, pan, cutlery etc you would need. Very clean but also had a homely feel. Perfect for us.

The only thing that was slight issue was that the double bed was very soft and I found it hard to sleep.
