Everything was clean except under the bed, was some inhaler which may have been overlooked

Advertised as bed and breakfast, to me that means full irish. Not a bowl of corn flakes and a scone in your room. Advert should have made that clear. Would not have booked had I known.

Before we arrived, Donal, the host, made sure he knew what time we were going to show up and made a point of being there to greet us, with a shot of the local Slane whiskey! What a treat! Our room was sort of like the attic of this house built by Donal, not big but very cozy, with everything we needed, including our own bathroom. The house contains several other rooms for rent, in different sizes, I believe. Our bed was very comfortable with a skylight directly above for stargazing if the conditions were right. There were scones, cereals, milk, orange juice, and coffee for breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there and appreciated Donal's hospitality. He even recommended and helped us make a reservation for dinner at this fantastic local restaurant called Inside Out at the last minute. We really enjoyed that. This turned out to be the perfect place to stay for our visit to the nearby Newgrange.

Donal was an excellent host and made me feel welcome straight away. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy, and the shower nice and hot. Will definitely come back!

We stayed the night as we were attending a wedding nearby and Donal was such a nice and welcoming host! He greeted us with a taste of Slane whiskey which was delicious (now a convert!) The room was very comfortable and included a lovely breakfast of cereal, orange juice and scones. An ideal place to stay right in the centre of town. Would highly recommend.
