Below are the things we liked while staying at Centro: 1. The Staff and the Owner are very accommodating. 2. Value for money and the facility is according to what we pay for. 3. Good working AC condition. 4. They provided toiletries. 5. We are expecting a big room for the 4 of us but they gave us two separate big rooms which we really appreciated. 6. Lastly, they have a swimming pool which is nice to unwind after a long day of exploring the city.

This place has got so much potential. It's exactly as the photos on Booking.com. My room opened directly up to a cozy shared terrace with tables and chairs. The room had a fridge, and the small bathroom was adequate thanks to a clever diagonally placed toilet. The shower was hot and the room had both Aircon and a fan. The shared 'kitchen' next door had a hot and cold water dispenser and kettles. Excellent sitting area downstairs where cold drinks were for sale. Tiny pool as well. The location is very good, very close to the happening areas in town. The friendly owner speaks some English. The WiFi is good but you might have to connect to a different network depending on where you are in the building.

The only thing I really didn't like was the dirty duvet with no duvet cover or even a top sheet! Everything else was clean. In theory no problem for me. I'm traveling the world and am prepared, but a sign says you canNOT use your own! If you do, you'll be charged extra. NOT hygienically! The young girls working during the day seemed very inexperienced and spoke no English. This especially caused problems checking out at 7 am, as they only take payment when you leave. I really wish they could have done this fiddling about and payment thing when I arrived. I nearly missed my 8 am transport which left from a place 3 km away. And yes, I DID intend to walk this and not pay overcharging Tuk tuks.

The stairs are a major issue, very steep, and for someone with mobility issues, it is incredibly difficult to navigate. For this reason, I only stayed one night . There are nice and reasonably priced hotels in a similar area for 5 or 6 US dollars a night more that are really good. I would stay elsewhere.
