Needed a deep clean
ROThe studio itself was impeccable. It was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The amenities provided were top-notch. The host was also very accommodating and responsive, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect, making it incredibly convenient.
GBThe only redeeming quality of the studio is the central location which is really convenient for easy access to all the restaurants, cafés and shops on Calea Victoriei.
The main reason for the low rating is the lack of hot water during the first two nights, which was immediately blamed by the host on the district hot water supply failure, which as a former Bucharest native I know is not uncommon. After having called the heating supplier several times it was confirmed that the building had been disconnected a long time ago from the communal network, and lo and behold, the host finally admitted that there was a boiler in the adjacent flat which was the culprit. The issue was solved after two nights, but this had already soured the experience. The third night the studio next door had a party going on until 5am which ruined our sleep because of the paper thin walls. The furniture is also in a bad state, the chest of drawers lacked the bottom of the middle drawer, the bed was creaky and the bathroom was giving off an unpleasant sewer smell. The property had also only been superficially cleaned, with a dirty kitchen sink and mosquito stains on the walls. I know the price is low for the area, but I guess you get what you pay for.

ITThe property is located in an area with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but it is still quiet as it is situated at the far end corner. Easy access by taking bus 100 to and from airport, around 10 mins walk to the bus stop. The filtered water for drinking is super good, save money and plastic bottles.
It will be perfect if the owner can change the bed linen esp the duvet cover, it's a bit worn out.
TRThe house is beautiful.
It is told that the facility has free public parking but it is full most of the time. There is another street that the owner says that you can park there which is also free, but it isn’t. We got parking penalty because of this misdirection. This parking issue has ruined our Bucharest vacation. The owner is reckless and she doesn’t even care about such problems. We have stayed there for 4 nights and one of the mornings there was no hot water. We told this to the owner but it hasn’t been fixed. So we had shower using cold water.
