ZAJust how isolated it was, relaxing, beautiful views, private, quiet, warm and comfortable. Very neat. Safe.
Could have had more wood issued for a four day stay considering you did not need heated blankets. A lot of light bulbs missing so challenging reading at night. Bigger coffee mugs! Though all round perfect.
ZAThe location was fantastic. It was really beyond our expectations. Out of all of the places we had visited in the past, this is definitely the place that we both agreed that we would surely visit again.

ZAZAZAI absolutely loved the chalets - they are incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed. Not only is each unit generously sized, but they are also set far apart, offering a true sense of privacy and peace of mind. The interiors are beautifully furnished, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Everything you could possibly need is provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as pest control for a peaceful night’s sleep - a small detail that makes a big difference. There was more than enough wood and lighters supplied to enjoy a cozy fire in the large fireplace, which added to the overall comfort and charm of the stay. A particularly special touch was the old brown sherry placed on the coffee table — it was absolutely lovely to unwind with a glass after a long day of hiking. The owners were also incredibly considerate, providing us with detailed directions to the lodge as well as weather warnings ahead of our arrival. This was very thoughtful and truly appreciated, especially given the location. And the views… absolutely breathtaking. The mountains are simply stunning, I couldn’t get enough of them.
One important thing to note is that a high-rise vehicle is absolutely essential — it’s non-negotiable. The road from AHA Alpine Heath leading to Top Lodge is quite rough and not suitable for smaller cars. Fortunately, we were driving a Toyota Fortuner SUV, which handled the terrain well. However, guests with low-clearance vehicles may find the drive challenging or even inaccessible.
ZAThe property and location thereof is fantastic. The road getting in ads excitement. Lovely and quite. Great scenery, overlooking the valley. Well catered for WRT cutlery and furniture. "Garden" is trimmed and well looked after. Great hiking and scenic walks. Perfect place to unwind.
(Yellow wood) The property could do with a little tlc. Although mostly functional, the furniture could do with some new. The cushions on the couch were completely "pap" and when sat on, felt like you were going to touch the floor. The single beds on the lower level were rock hard. The shower could do with a scrub down. The front door could not be opened easily and was a struggle to keep on opening and closing, especially when cooking outside. The toilet basin cold tap was excessively tight. Although these were minor issues, they detracted from the overall stay. Otherwise I would definitely go again.
