The hosts were amazing, being flexible with us for our 70th birthday plans for my father. Firewood and essentials were provided. They even left us some cake from Trotters which was delicious! The house was comfortably sized for the planned 8 adults and 3 kids - the photos do not do it justice! It’s huge. Bedding clean and comfortable. Great selection of dvds, books, games and puzzles.

Outside space had been invaded by some pigeons and was covered in bird mess- somewhat disappointing but for us (as a short stay) with plans outdoors we didn’t use the space. Some general wear and tear notes throughout, carpets needed cleaned, new frying pans, oven trays needed etc. However, one of the showers downstairs kept tripping the fuse. Also, some things missing - left some scouring pads for the next person as we missed some cloths/scourers.
