Marien Beach House

Beautiful location right on the beach.

The concrete stairs at the entrance way are unfortunately a safety hazard. An emergency visit to the nearest hospital for my friend at night, a broken arm and concussion was not how we imagined our stay. Please be careful with the corner steps. Please also note that if you have an infant that can crawl or walk, the stairs are open to them. Wi-Fi didn’t work for most of our stay and the cellphone reception is bad in the area. No electricity during loadshedding, there are a few lights but you cannot use the stove. Pathway down to the beach very steep and difficult to manage with a baby.

The house is beyond imagination. Its like you never left home, with the extra steps taken to ensure luxury and comfort. The views from the rooms and also the living room were magnificent. We were lucky enough to wake up every morning with Dolphins and/or seals on the beach, the beach is less than 50 metres from the house. The indoor and outdoor braai area with the pizza oven was definitely a plus. The staff/owners were very pleasant and always friendly.

The ramp to the parking was a bit tough to manage but once youve mastered it its easy.

Everything. The property is fantastic with the most amazing sea views. Accommodation is superb. Spotlessly clean and modern. Hosts were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Cannot wait to return.

Everything you need for a relaxing get away, the space just works and the property is equipped with everything you need plus you have a beautiful view from both the rooms as well as the living area! The hosts are friendly and available.
