Fortune Suits and Apartment

All of it , except for where it's located

The two separate bedrooms were clean and comfortable, as was the kitchen and living room. Our dog got locked in the apartment when we loaded the car. When contacted, the owner drove immediately to the apartment and helped us get our dog. The owner was so gracious in helping us. Thank you!

The location was a little run down, but you could see that it is being worked on. The people we met on the streets were very polite. We were three adults and felt comfortable.

Nice and cozy ,clean apartment

Felt little insecure in the area. Tgere with friend I maybe ok, but with family it was worry.

DON'T STAY HERE! Located in a dangerous part of town (taxi driver called it 'the hood') with crappy locks - Main door code was the same as the apartment door code! I felt super unsecure. The back door and windows were easy to break into. Single pane windows meant you heard all the street noise. People were parking two feet in front of the bedroom windows with their engine and radio running. Baseboards and door frames were in such a poor state that ants were entering. I didn't stay and asked for my money to be refunded, but the proprietor refused. Definitely not the place for solo travelers or women to stay. As I arrived late at night, I ended up calling the police who sent a taxi to pick me up and move me to a hotel.

Good location, easy and quick to find and also leave town again. Minor hiccup with getting the code to enter the apartment. Apartment is located in an ethnic section of town, 15 minutes to walk to the USS Slater museum ship, 20 minutes to the NY museum and a very nice pub, "Hill Street Cafe" is also only 10-15 minutes away by foot. Fine dining restaurants are 25-30 minutes away on foot. There were no issues with parking on the street. The kitchen lacks some diversity for pots and pans if you plan to cook yourself, so better bring some along. But overall a nice experience.

The apartment was very clean and well styled. It was very comfortable and had nice touches. Parking in front of the apartment was easy.

The location was in an old part of town, and there were no restaurants or stores within walking distance. You definitely need a car to get around.
