City Room

This was within walking distance of what we traveled for. The bedroom door had a lock which made that part feel safe.

Apartment was extremely cramped, could touch both walls with hands outstretched for most points. The kitchen was in the entryway which had three bedrooms opening up into this. The kitchen and separate toilet and bathroom were extremely cramped for being able to be used at any point by up to 6 people. As the rest of the Apartment was communal, we did not have our own key to the apartment, just our bedroom. The main key to the apartment was on a string connected to a lockbox on the door and required people to lock the lockbox after every use, which did not happen and feels like a major design risk bordering on security risk. The staff at the reception were also extremely unhelpful as it turns out booking for this room was the owners personal booking system, so the reception had no information for our stay and could not help us. The way we had to communicate was through text to the owner, whom we never saw in person and was likely off site. This felt very cold and shady and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Comfortable bed

The unit itself was nice and cosy, well kept, and perfect size for solo travel, the other people in the apartment were very welcoming and friendly also

Nothing.

It was very clean and very comfortable! Also it is reasonably nearby the city centre which makes things easy for shopping and stuff. The owner was very helpful and helped us a lot to relocate us in another property when all the hotel options were fully booked! Really appreciate.

Location

Wasn’t informed that it was state housing and when we got there there was a couple, half naked in the other room with the door open, the whole building stank and there was raw meat on the counter. When we arrived we hadn’t been given any instructions on what to do so looked like complete fools when we showed up to the front desk thinking it was a hotel. We called the “owner” of the room and was told what to do, they then later texted us the details of what we had to do. Due to all of this we booked another motel and didn’t stay any nights at the room.

Cheap and central.

The place stunk! So gross. Bathroom was so bad I didn’t use the shower.

Great sized room, good facilities
