The ambience, we felt warm welcomed by the staff. The breakfast was locally made.

The room is abit run down but still clean.

The view on the river was great. The staff were friendly particularly the tall male manager who tried hard to make all comfortable. The cook was very good.

We did not realize how far it is from anywhere but that is our fault. It was 20 minutes/500 b to town. The manager tried hard but there seemed some problems. The Thai breakfast was very plain. Just a pot of rice soup with a few pieces of pork and a plate of fruit. We were given glasses but nothing to drink from them. As the room was over 2000 b per night it did not seem very generous. The filter for the pool was turned off during the day. Considering the local birds all drank from the pool and there is a bird flu epidemic at present, this was very unhygienic and dirty. I was told it was on a timer and that the owner liked swimming. I guess it turned on for her daily swim time. The room only had a tiny, very hard to access wardrobe. The manager gave us an extra chair to put our clothes on but we still had to leave our clothes in bags on the floor. I noticed another review about it being a health resort so no alcohol in the minibar. They sold 1 variety of beer at the restaurant but there was no choice if you wanted something else. However, if it is a health resort why is the only choice of coffee in the rooms 3 in 1 sachets full of sugar? Surely pushing people to eat sweetened coffee is not healthy?. There was a,jar of cheap instant coffee at breakfast but luckily I brought my own non sweet coffee. I hate complaining so much but it was over 2000 b per night which is not cheap for Thailand so I did expect a little more.

What a beautiful, relaxing place! The Thai decor is stunning, rooms have everything you need, even had a beautiful outdoor shower. And the grounds set on the river were gorgeous. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The floating restaurant was awesome.

Can't say a bad word about this place.
