Boutique style cosy cottage

The accommodation was so lovely, clean, warm and decorated to a very high standard. The Host (Martin) was so welcoming and on arrival to the property we was met with some lovely Easter themed decorations and Gifts. We loved the Cookies, Cakes and the Easter Chocolates. We would absolutely love to return again and stay as there is so much more to do eat lol. Thank you again Martin to you and your Wife we hope to see you again soon 😊

The cottage was clean and well prepared for our visit. The thoughtfulness to provide milk, tea, gin, tonic, and chocolate chip cookies was greatly appreciated. The guest welcome book laid out the ground rules and gave helpful information for the stay. We were comfortable and happy with our stay. The only note we have is we wondered if an adjustment is needed to the toilet to enable a thorough flush.

It was very comfortable and cosy to stay in. There was everything we could possibly need and it was immaculately clean.

Small cottage which was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. Loved the little treats they left for us. Great location - right in the middle of the village. We didn't use the car for our stay as everything was so close.

The boiler was very noisy.

This is a place you stay and you know straight away that the host is passionate and deeply cares that all who stay have the best possible experience. The place is decorated to the highest specifications and everything screams luxury, comfort and no expense spared. There is even board games for the kids (and young at heart). Bowls for doggies. An airer under the bed and much much more. If your a light sleeper take some earplugs as the house is on a busy road. However the double bedroom at the back you can't hear anything. I went with a friend and she had the double. Also we took 2 cars and so my friend paid for parking. But at only £3 a day who could quibble at that. Also where she parked (at a club only a few houses along) The Comodores Club. It has plenty of spaces and you can even go in for a pint or some grub. Including a full English. The host was great at communicating and made us feel so relaxed and at ease. My friend and I can't recommend this place and it's owner highly enough! They even allowed us to book just a couple of days beforehand for a last minute break which was well needed. Also, in such a small place there's so much to do...great walks, wildlife, farm shops, independent shops or book ahead for a massage or beauty treatment on the high street. There really is something for everyone.
