La Guest House

Spacious room with lots of windows.

No breakfast apart from an expensive mediocre breakfast served in the room. It’s difficult to get in touch with the manager, who hides behind a mobile number of a virtual desk.

The location is perfect for holidays at the seaside. The beach is 5 minutes walk away, central Accra such as Osu neighborhood is 5 minutes drive and the airport is also very close by. It is also close to a lot of tourist attractions. The hotel has a lovely rooftop where one can take the breakfast, with a nice sea view. A special comment to the hotel staff who has been wonderful, very friendly and always helpful for everything. They carried my luggage, helped me find my Uber and were very attentive. The room was clean, spacious with fan and air conditioning and there are spacious common areas with balcony. I had a very pleasant stay, it is a nice place to relax.

Wifi does not go everywhere.

Staff were always helpful, carried our bags up the stairs and security straight on to opening door for residents. Room was cleaner than anticipated

It is on a busy road and traffic in afternoons which wasn’t ideal but not on the accom. Restaurant was not open and would have been nice to know in the site as it was a main contributing factor in selection

The wifi was really really bad and have to be in the common area. No connectivity in your room.

The bedding and mattress were not very good

It was a 5 minute walk to the Labadi Beach., which is one of the best beaches in the country. Very clean. Security on site 24 hours. They don’t have someone at the desk but you just ring a bell and someone appears within a couple minutes at any. Same thing happens if you are outside the property. There is a bell you could ring and the security officer shows up in a couple minutes too.

No restaurant on site but property gives alternates and can walk across street to eat at one of the bigger hotels. No elevator but staff offered to carry by carry on.
