Lovely Beach House

De ligging; op 50 stappen van een klein en prachtig strand. Veel privacy; 4 huisjes op een ruim terrein met elk hun eigen terras/tuin. Het strandje was alleen toegankelijk voor de gasten van de huisjes op het terrein. Wij hadden het strand vrijwel de hele vakantie voor onszelf. Het huisje, 2-persoons, was meer dan voldoende uitgerust voor een comfortabele vakantie. Alles erop en eraan. Op 15 minuten rijden van Santa Teresa Gallura. Een gezellig en toeristisch havenstadje met restaurants, winkels en mooie bezienswaardigheden en uitzichten. En wat is de omgeving mooi!

What makes the place absolutely unique is the location of the cottage directly on a private beach. The otherwise simply furnished cottage makes a pleasant impression. The cottage has undergone cosmetic renovation, so it looks better than in the photos. Everything is clean and generally tasteful. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped. There are sun loungers available. The surroundings of the cottage are beautiful, like the whole of Sardinia. The driveway is more or less in order. The feeling of security is pleasant, the accommodation is behind two gates with automatic opening. We rate the landlord's approach very positively, very helpful and exemplary, trouble-free handover and return of the keys. The location is perfect, close to beautiful tourist trips. 15 minutes by car to Santa Teresa Gallura, where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes and also 5 large supermarkets. The best of them is clearly Euro Spin (it is also next to the airport in Olbia). We stayed here the second week of May. Advantages in this period: few people, empty beaches including the neighboring resort, which was still closed at this time. Beautiful blooming nature, we were almost alone on the hiking trails and there was no problem with parking. Disadvantage: maybe just a little cooler evenings and the sea, about 19 degrees, but you can swim. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Overall we were very satisfied. Just a few small things to improve. The price is a bit higher, but in the context of a private beach it is probably understandable. We recommend taking basic bathroom/toilet equipment and washing powder and kitchen towels with you, although they are in the accommodation, they are definitely not enough for a week's stay. The hut feels a bit sterile in small details (tiling, lighting, etc.), however, most of the time, including eating, you are still on the private beach, which is breathtaking.

Not sure about value for money overall. Most importantly, I made a claim that never got answered by the agency. In the end, Booking provided a artial refund, NOT the agency. My issue was I ended up with 8h without electricity on the last day in the house and was asking for a compensation, which seems fair. It is like paying for a full menu in a restaurant and you don't get the dessert and the café but you are asked to pay for it: it is dishonest.
