Modern, beautifully designed hotel. Very convenient location near train station (even with luggage you can easily walk there if you arrive by train). Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Gym well equipped. Breakfast buffet with many choices is expensive but a la carte ordering is possible.

Saune use not included in the room charge. Spa services are extra which is normal but sauna visit should be free for guests. Not much else to compplain!

THE THOUSAND KYOTO was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. The hotel combines luxury, comfort, and elegance in a beautiful setting. Our room was spacious, quiet, and extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout the property was impressive. The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The location is excellent, right next to Kyoto Station, making it easy to explore Kyoto while enjoying a peaceful and refined atmosphere. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium stay in Kyoto.
