Newly Refurbished Tor View Executive Dormer Bungalow Rossendale

Clean, tidy , modern, spacious , great kitchen

Difficult to navigate the tv but that might have been my fault . Garden upgrade would have made it perfect especially in the summer months .. use of a barbecue etc

Good location. Easy access. Generally well appointed at a 'basic' level. Quiet. Would have befitted from a free extra fittings eg mirrors in all bedrooms, towel rail in bedrooms, coat hooks in hall or porch area,

Everything was spotless, the rooms were made up very nicely with spare towels, pillows and even dispensers for the showers! The design was sleek and everything worked well for us. Couldn't recommend it more! :)

There are no negatives

The property was as described, spacious and comfortable. It was an attractive looking property and had been extended well into the loft space. The furniture was quality but there was a lack of clothes storage space throughout and no mirrors in the upstairs bedroom. The only disappointment for us was the back garden. There was no step into it from the patio doors and it was quite a drop for my mum and even our lab fell out the door. The garden was very untidy, grass not cut, guttering lying up one side of the house and a broken gate on the other side making it unsecure for our dogs. This was a huge let down as the weather was glorious for our 5 night break and we couldn’t sit out.

Property was immaculately clean. Layout & set up great. Beds, bedding & pillows were really lovely quality - 1 of our party stated they slept a solid 9 hours, which is unheard of for them. Towels & showers were immaculate too. Generally well equipped & well thought out throughout, with everything being new. Some really practical, thoughtful & lovely touches. Interactions with hosts were super responsive, helpful & friendly. The location was great - we enjoyed the Loom bar in walking distance. We wish you every success with your fab holiday home and would definitely rebook if we were in the area again.

We found it a little difficult to keep the main living room & a couple of other spots cosy enough, resulting in us having the heating super turned up & we did sit with the blankets provided over us. (Thick curtains due to the size of the window in the living room would help, as would potentially a modern fire. It might help reduce your overall heating costs, too.) This wasn't a big enough problem to stop us booking again & we do recognise our stay was in chilly February. There were a few minor snagging points or a few suggestions we'd be happy to offer privately too, but it's obvious the owners care about the home and we have no doubt there might still be some minor fine-tuning going on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & any tweaks would only enhance the already amazing property.
