The Harri Apartments

1. Proximity to the city centre and other amenities. 2. Grocery store was near by. 3. The property provided basic personal care products- such as bath soap and shampoo- that means if you happen to have forgotten to pop something in your toilet bag, you might be covered. 4. The Kitchen provided basic kitchen appliances and supplies that one needs not to mention the Salt and Pepper which I found quite considerate. 5. Safety- there is a security guide at the entrance 24 hours. 6. Privacy- with your kitchenette, and bathroom. 7. Quiet place- no noise considering the apartment is situated on a busy street

Parking, Parking, Parking. You park your rental car or personal car on the street which is considerably a busy street by the way during most of the time.

The room is so small. I had a problem with my fridge.reported it but no one came to check it

The room is equipped with clean and modern equipment. The decor is recent and nicely done.

The bed is on a mezzanine level there is about 60cm between the bed and the roof. The stairs up the bed are an open staircase with no bannister so if you with small kids who can fall stay away. I checked out the pictures again and while they do show the apartment I got, there are a lot of other pictures which I can only assume are other apartments they have.... really not clear what you going to get before you arrive. You have to watch out if you getting the standard studio or the queen studio. I was booked into the standard studio. You dont see the photos of the exact configuration of the apartment unless you see the availabilty and the click on the link for the standard studio and check out the photos. Anyway not value for money in my opinion. I did request an upgrade which I was prepared to pay for but they would only give me an upgrade that I would have to pay for in full (not just extra ontop of what I had already paid for) and give me a refund only if they were able to rent out the apartment I had booked. So there be very careful what you book

Ideal location

The standard of Harris is being diminished by guests with no regards for the rules which resulted in a 2 hour late check in. In addition the new restaurant downstairs seems to opt to “braai” perhaps during load shedding but this smoke fills the room

The location is good, the building is very well kept and clean.

We didn’t have any soap in the bathroom and kitchen swabs, was told that someone would drop them off but that never happened until we checked out. The floating bed can be a hazard.
