From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special. So very clean, smiley faces, all willing to help and all explained clearly and politely. This is an oasis in the Galle Fort with tranquil surroundings and beautiful well kept rooms. Breakfast was served outside our room and was plentiful and very good quality. Highly recommend.

Only gripe was that the air con was hard to operate and so room was very cold at night. Remote for it was not logical to use but if staying longer would have been easy to learn.

"Charming, quiet and friendly bungalow in the heat of the old fort town."

Beautiful design/decor, comfortable beds, very friendly staff, good shower, very clean, great location in the heart of the old fort, close to great restaurants and sights. Very quiet street.

Fina och fräscha rum. Bra tryck i duschen. Bra läge, ett mysigt ställe med få rum.

Frukosten föll inte oss i smaken. Elen var avstängd fram till 18 dagen vi checkade in, dock inte hotellets fel.

"Perfect base for exploring Galle fort"

Lovely accomodation in the heart of Galle fort, you couldn’t ask for a better location. The family rooms are great with a king size bed downstairs and twin singles on a mezzanine platform. Air-con worked well and private bathroom was clean and tidy. Perfect for our family of four for a couple of nights exploring Galle fort. Delicious breakfast that kept the kids and adults happy! Staff were lovely and very helpful.

Nothing really - with small kids the stairs up to the mezzanine might be an issue but ours (8 & 11) were fine.

"Fabulous accomodation in a great location"

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dutch Bungalow. It is a gorgeous, quirky hotel right in the heart of Galle Fort, an easy stroll the everything. Tashmi was a great host, providing excellent advice and seeing to our every need. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Bathroom was modern with a great shower. The breakfast is so so good. Absolutely hands down the best breakfast we had in our entire time in Sri Lanka. Eating in the beautiful courtyard was a great way to start the day. Although not part of the hotel, the Bungalow restaurant next door is amazing, the service and food is top notch.
