Ai Papiri

The hospitality was great. The apartment was very clean and I would return. We loved our stay at Ai Papiri, it is highly recommended

The room and the common areas were newly renovated and everything was really clean. The location was nice, really close to the cathedral of Palermo.

There was noone there to let me in or hand me my keys even though I had informed them earlier at what time I will be arriving. I only got in because other guests were heading out. I tried to contact the owner via Whatsapo but it took some time before the owner called me. He told me to get the keys by myself behind the reception (which is really just an empty desk, there‘s no staff available). He told me which room was mine and which key was for which door (downstairs, apartment, room and safe). My room didn‘t have a window facing outside. There were balcony doors but they only lead to the common area! When I mentioned this after I left, the owner said that if I had said anything earlier, he could have removed me to another room with window to outside (why not give me such room in the first place if it‘s free?) I also didn‘t have nice peaceful nights, because something was beeping in the whole house, day AND NIGHT. The sound was so penetrating that I had to buy earplugs for the second night. I would never book this place again.
