The highlight of our stay was definitely the wildlife experience. The game drives were enjoyable and clearly a major draw for visitors. It was especially reassuring to see that the animals appear well cared for, healthy, and thriving. We also found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which always makes a difference. Cleanliness was excellent across the lodge, and the rooms themselves were decent—certainly more comfortable than some of the other accommodations we experienced during our trip.

The main disappointment for us was the food. It felt like very little effort was put into the menu and preparation. For example, a vegetarian starter described as beetroot carpaccio seemed to be little more than pre-prepared beetroot sliced and served, which was underwhelming. Overall, both the vegetarian and meat options lacked creativity and quality, and this is an area that could be significantly improved. The overall design and atmosphere of the lodge also felt quite dated. While we understand that renovations take significant funds, both the dining area and parts of the accommodation have a heavy, dark, outdated style. There is so much potential to modernize the interiors with a lighter, more contemporary African aesthetic. The dining experience itself could also be improved—chairs in the dining room and outdoor areas were uncomfortable, and the décor (including animal heads and a dim, somewhat dusty ambiance) made the space feel less inviting. Additionally, while thatched roofs look charming, they can be impractical, as they obstruct views from certain rooms.

Schöne Lodge mit ganz viel Nähe zu den Tieren. Zum Abend kommen die Zebras, Elends, Gnus, Giraffen und auch die Nashörner an das Wasserloch. Auch wenn dieses durch anfüttern passiert, hat man nicht das Gefühl negativ in die Natur einzugreifen. Bei einem Spaziergang durch den Busch oder auch beim Gamedrive kann man erleben, auf welchem grossen Raum sie leben. Für uns ein schönes Erlebnis zum Schluss unserer Reise Zum Entspannen lädt der Pool ruhig im Grünen ein. Man kann viele Vögel sehen und auf den Liegen, das nicht immer stabile Internet genießen

Das Internet ist sehr instabil, aber so ist Afrika. Für den doch relativ hohen Preis, hätte ich, z. B am Pool etwas mehr Service erwartet. Einfach mal nach Getränken fragen.

Game drive with Ranger Clarence was fantastic.

Beautiful Lodge, outstanding friendly and relaxed atmosphere, nice pool, good food. Especially perfect for families, as you can get really close to the animals. We had a game drive, which was fantastic, and also the walking safari, where they allow kids, is highly recommended. We would love to come back.

Sehr schöne Anlage, gepflegt.Das Zimmer mit Ausstattung war sehr gut.

Das Frühstücksbüfett , inklusive Geschirr,Gläser wurde nicht aufgefüllt.Ein Zweischeiben Toaster ist nicht ausreichend . Servicekräfte wirkten überfordert.
