AUA long walk from the bus station
I walked up steep hills from bus station to The Fortwell boarding House and was unable to enter the place. A friendly neighbour called the emergency number and I was directed to another residence in another street and criticised for not having a smart phone
IEIEI had booked this room several times before, and there had never been any issues. However, this time the situation was very unpleasant. Despite having a confirmed booking, the guest was refused entry without any explanation. The administrator behaved unprofessionally and demanded additional payment without any valid reason. As a result, the situation escalated and Garda had to be called. After that, the booking was cancelled with an incorrect reason provided. Unfortunately, this experience was negative due to the behaviour of the administration.

IEI had booked this room multiple times before (for 1 night, 3 nights, and even 7 nights), and there were never any issues. However, this time the situation was completely unacceptable. My guest checked out in the morning at 10:00, and later the same day I made a new booking for another 7 nights. The reservation was confirmed, and he went to the property. Upon arrival, he was refused entry without any clear explanation. The administrator behaved unprofessionally and demanded an additional €20 without any valid reason. Due to being denied access, the situation escalated and Garda had to be called. After that, the administrator cancelled the booking and falsely claimed that the guest had left without notice and taken a towel, which is completely illogical and untrue. I would not recommend this place, as the administration appears unreliable and unprofessional.

I had not received the code for the self check-in / keybox, but the host was responsive and did send the instructions quickly after I asked. Slight smell of cigarette in the room.
