The apartment was perfect and very cozy!!

Superbe bungalow situé tout prêt d’une belle plage quasi privée.Une terasse splendide qui permet de prendre ses repas en profitant du chant des oiseaux. Ce que j’ai apprécié le plus, c’est la gentillesse et le dévouement de Manili, c’est une perle qui a rendu ce voyage ensoleillée malgré le temps pluvieux

Le fait que ce soit excentré, il faut impérativement être véhiculée pour bouger facilement , les bus passent très peu, les taxis coûtent une fortune , et le centre est à au moins 30 minutes de marche

Magnifique petit bungalow sur un terrain privé avec accès direct à la plage, joliment décoré et très calme La wifi fonctionne très bien, Vous pouvez garer votre véhicule juste devant le bungalow, L'endroit est très reposant avec toutes ses plantes et ses arbres, Même si le logement est petit, tout a été conçu autour de la terrasse qui est le lieu de vie principal, Malgré sa petite surface, la cuisine est très bien agencée et très bien équipée, Encore merci pour les fruits, les oeufs et le jus de coco !

Peut-être moderniser la salle de bain, mais ça n'enlève en rien le charme de ce bungalow

La terrasse extérieure donne sur un mur, manque d'un point de vue, environnement sombre. Le sol de la petite cuisine est en bois dont les planches sont abimées, on peut voir au travers.

Everything. This accommodation is in the best location for beach lovers and the best snorkeling we did in the entire island. There is a lovely reef with beautiful fish. The host I can rave for hours. She is the best and most sweetest person. I loved on our last night that she invited us for some drinks and snacks, and she and her husband shared some history of their lives on the island. She even gave me some cream after a mosquito bit me. They are just so caring and helpful. Oh and she took us in her car to show us the resturants and recommended places to eat. The place has lounges and cushions that you can use to sit and relax on the beach. It has direct access to a private beach. It's extremely lovely. I booked this based on a review that said if this is available don't think twice just book it. And that is my feedback to you. If this is available trust me just book it and you won't regret it.

Honestly I loved everything. It's quiet and a great location. If I had to say something I would prob say it's a little small. But we didn't book a place to stay indoors. Our plan was to explore. So the place was perfect for us.

If you found this place available for your dates - just book it or you will regret ;-) We stayed 5 days and they gone very quickly. This little charming outbuilt is positioned 2 min walk to the sea with its own private beach. The studio has everything you need to cook, to sleep and to have lovely meals on your own veranda listening to the birds singing... At the beach there are treas to hide you in the shade. Clear lovely waters to swim with corals, various fish to snorkel and as I spend hours in the water I saw also star fish, sea cucumbers and sea slugs and even octopus - that in the area a bit further 15-10 min walking. No real need for coral shoes but some people I saw wearing them. I wasn't. Nearest big supermarket SuperU gives you a great choice of all sorts of goodies... Just need to plan this 20 min drive into your day plans. There is a little village by car 5-10min with some little shops and several eating places. Marice and Hevre thank you again for letting us to share your paradise. Loved our stay and i cried as I didn't want to leave. We hope come back next year!!

We were VERY happy with everything!! Just some useful point for someone: You need a car to get there - taxi or we rented via booking.com. If someone is expecting a vibrant night life from their holiday - it is quiet there. This place isn't for you. Also little mosquitos do come around so you need your spray and better to buy it from home. Things are sometimes double price in Mauritius as they need to be brought over to the island.

Marise the owner is an absolute gem of a human. You will have an experience of your life time at the Artist house east which has unique, creative and priceless energy of its own. from every detail of the tiny home itself, the beautiful back windows and fully sliding front windows providing an indoor outdoor vibe, the open deck allows you to watch variety of enchanting birds coming to visit, to its charming and considered furniture, artwork, bedding, towels..everything is both aesthetic and extremely functional, you will have stepped into pure magic and be missing nothing. Not to mention private access to the beach steps away allows you to watch the jaw dropping sunrise each morning..and the unique feature of this long mostly private stretch of beach allows you to watch the sunset at the other end as well. You are also close to Bel mar and easy access to Ile aux cerf which are easily the best beaches in the whole of Mauritius. Also close proximity to Trou d'Eau Douce town is extremly convient for trying variety of food, getting grocieriee and banking. During my stay i initially booked 6 nights but then decided to scooter for 3 hours across the country so I can come back and end my trip for the last 3 nights here. Staying here, makes you feel protected and safe for a solo female traveller. A complete nervous system reset. It was an absolute blessing and privilege to meet Marise, who went above and beyond and took care of me better than my own mother. She thinks of every detail and truly cares about her guests. When I arrived, everything was perfection, fruit from her garden, prepared coconut and food ready. I really wish I could have done something to repay her but her generosity is from her heart. her husband Arvey is also an extremely lovey man, who told me stories of his travels, they also got gas for my scooter because I was on my own. However if you want more privacy they are really good about respecting your space as well.

Absolutely nothing, it was beyond perfection, 1st world standards, everything you can think you can think of was provided and working well!

Everything. Such a cute cottage and everything as per the photos. The location was almost right on the beach, a few steps to the water's edge. Maryse and Herve were such lovely hosts. So welcoming, friendly, and generous. They shared meals and fruit with me at times. I even received a Christmas gift from them, which was so heartwarming. Also on a bus route to and from Flacq which was convenient.
