This is my first time experiencing such an awful service like this on bookings.com, booked this place for my birthday get away with my friends, only to be stranded outside from 6pm-11:40pm over 5hours, waiting to be housed, I phoned and got my friends to phone but never got a call back, I spoke to these people 3days to my booking, and informed them the purpose of my booking and they said it was fine only to arrive at the location with nobody answering phone call or even anyone to give us the keys, the money I spend to keep my taxi driver waiting for me ain’t going to be refunded, I never got a call back for this apartment keeping in mind I booked it. They instead called out to one of my friends to say sorry and to say they apparently never got my deposit, bookings.com tried reaching them that night as well but nobody picked up, the spoilt my birthday for me, as all this made me very distressed and upset, i paid for the property and even submitted my cards details for the deposit to be taken, and if that’s why they are keeping guest outside like they did me, then that’s just disgusting, imagine I don’t know anyone in Birmingham and have only got cash left to eat then what would have been my fate for the three nights, with all this said, I would definitely not be recommending these people.

The property was beautifully decorated, clean and in a great location for us. The house sleeps many people and had all the facilities we needed.

There was no remote control in the bedroom so we could not use the television. I messaged the owners twice and got no response regarding this. It was frustrating as we would have liked to relax in bed watching the tv. There are also many blinds missing in the bedroom and sitting room which means lots of light is let in.

Location was descent since we had family close by with a vehicle.

Room was dirty when we arrived. We were told to return in a few hours so it could be cleaned. Secondly the heating instructions were 200% incorrect; we were freezing the first night. The doors were not easy to lock . The management reply time was not in a timely fashion for such urgent matters. The worst part is we were calling from a family members phone who lived in the UK, however they still decided to ignore our calls and send us a text, human empathy was not present.

The location was great. Very quiet neighborhood. We were able to check in a couple hours early. It was generally clean. Housekeeping brought a fan when we discovered there was no air conditioning (contrary to the listing of room amenities).

The couches and walls were dirty. The beds were hard and pillows flat. Things were haphazardly thrown into closets. There was no soap in one of the bathrooms. The room amenities list air conditioning, but there was none. The back door was almost impossible to close securely.

Ideal for 3 adults good location

Would have preferred nicer crockery and glasses but that’s a personal preference

Nice house plenty of room not far from city centre

There should be a booklet to help with the tv ,heating,things to do restaurants ,taxis etc.reminds were missing in bedrooms causing you to turn lights off to dress suggest curtains .Also being woken up at 7am by bailiffs wasn't very pleasant
