Susan was very helpful and friendly from the very start of booking through to meeting her at the property and during our stay. She spoke about the history of the place, and places to visit in surrounding areas. The property was on the premises of her family home. She made us feel very welcome. We were attending a wedding at a venue literally a couple of doors up from this property. I attended with my parents and we all spoke highly of the location, property host and especially accommodation. Very well worth visiting.

I absolutely love this place and Sue the owner is so friendly and helpful. It's in a great spot, quiet and surrounded by loveliness. I am definitely coming back again, it is our favourite place in this area.

The only reason im giving a 9 and not a 10 os because of the limited WiFi. It does t really warrant a whole mark, but is just a niggle. We really struggled to get on and the connection was very limited. Whilst this wouldn't bother some people, we, as a small family wanted this and it we had to pay for data due to the lack of WiFi. The other slight thing is that it doesn't have a cooker, so only toaster and microwave. I still love the property and would definitely recommend it!

I loved everything about my (our)stay. A fabulous lodge in tranquil and gorgeous surroundings. Easy to find. Lovely host. Friendly ducks. The best place by far I've ever had a short stay. I highly recommend this pretty and amazing lodge. Excellent value for money.
