AUWonderful location, lovely view, short walk to town, quiet away from the crowds and traffic. Spacious and comfortable, with couch and table and chairs, as well as outdoor seating.
For the price we expected better kitchen and bathroom facilities. Shower over bath made bathroom floor wet. We had difficulty cooking with plug-in electric hot plates. These are small matters, but the cost was twice as much as we’ve paid elsewhere, so we expected perfection!
CALocation was good.
Tile floor was sticky. The Carpets could do with a clean. We came for the dark sky preserve (which Lake Tekapo is famous for) but the rental place had four bright LED's lighting up the backyard, set to permanently 'on'. To say it messed up the night sky viewing is an understatement. It was fixed for the 2nd night (along with the sticky floor) but alas a perfect night sky (hard to come by) was wasted.

Like most Tekapo properties, I feel it was expensive for what it is. But again, it seems everywhere in Tekapo is very expensive
