Had to wait over an hour on the street outside to check-in - you can’t check in at any time. My door wouldn’t lock and the host made no effort to fix the lock/key or put me in a different room. Francesco, the owner, was rude and difficult to deal with - not accommodating.

L’emplacement au cœur du centre ville pour sortir le soir, mais cela implique de trouver un emplacement pour garer la voiture à l’extérieur. La personne qui a préparé le petit déjeuner était très professionnelle, souriante et de bons conseils. Merci à elle pour se magnifique petit déjeuner.

Être au centre ville implique du bruit dans la rue.

This is a frank but constructive review. Firstly, the pluses. The location at the heart of the historic centre is great. The room is very elegant - large, with a beautiful high ceiling and colour coded minimalism. The bathroom is modern. The breakfast is very good, with fresh fruit and home-made local delicacies. I can imagine that, especially in high summer, the spacious room with its shutters and air-conditioning would be a great relief from the heat.

However, my wife and I stayed for four nights in October and our requirements were different. We needed (and expected) comfortable, well-equipped accommodation. Frankly, a room with only one chair and no surface to put anything on - except the floor - and a wardrobe with initially only four coat hangers is not enough for comfort or convenience. Also the description of the facilities in Booking.com is quite misleading: 26 of the 41 pieces of equipment are not available. There is no sitting area. There are no kitchen facilities. There is no safe deposit box. We asked for an iron and an ironing board, and they were not provided. (Oddly, also, the room is not at the address given in Booking.com: it is at via Alberici 8). I think the hosts mean well in this property. But a room which is a work of art is no substitute for a comfortable space to live in.
