Kubu Tako Homestay

Close to the beach. Good if you spend your time out. I liked that they had a kitchen and fridge if you decided to cook. Overall, I like it the place.

The alley at night to go to get some food at the restaurants needs lights. It’s dark. Not like whatsoever. I was concerned about my brown sheet (had some white stains), bedcover, and pillow cases. They have to provide 2 toilet papers daily. Owner has an owl in a cage, and that bothers me because the animal can’t barely fly, and other birds. I think they should be going back to the wilderness or at least make a larger cage so the owl can fly freely. It hearts my heart. 💜.

We stayed here based on the location to Sanur beach. We went surfing early in the morning, so it was the perfect location. It was also very close to restaurants and shopping.

Everything was great. This place is perfect for the value. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

The staff where great, felt very homey with what seemed like locals living there too

the calcium built up in the shower heads made it quite difficult to shower, if not wash my hair!

Location to beach and shops was very good. Quiet and gardens of the homestay were beautiful.

I am not a fan of wet areas in the bathroom where shower has no curtain, and water sprays all over the toilet and ground. But understanding this is the normal in Indonesia , its ok otherwise. Did not have a TV in the room , even though it is all there in bracket antenna plug etc. Maybe it was broken and taken away ?

Beautiful homestay tucked just off the main road so it was quiet at night. The homestay is a hidden gem, under a five minute walk to the beautiful beach and walkway, as well as many nearby restaurants and shops. Room comes with a single burner, dishes for cooking and eating and functional, clean fridge. The washroom was large and clean. Great property.

Mattress was a bit firm for me, which may suit others preference.

Quiet Location walking distance to the beach. Small kitchen with a fridge in the room was a big plus. Very comfortable family Homestay.

Handy to the beach and a wide variety of restuarants and bars. Plenty of good walks available closeby. Comfortable room with good bed and aircon.

Neighbourhood dogs barking on a regular basis day and night spoilt the ambience of the place. In addition the builders working next door from daylight to dusk created an additional noise factor.
