VILLA AAA WELIGAMA

I loved the pool area! The host was super accommodating and did not mind what ever time we used this. It was also close enough to the centre while also being out the way.

Wonderful host family, very welcoming and accommodating. The villa was spacious and well kept with a gorgeous pool area. The villa was in a quiet residential area a short TikTok ride from the beach and main strip.

The property is very close to a mosque and the call to prayer was very loud at 5am. Although this might not be an issue outside of Ramadan, our host informed us when we arrived so it wasn’t a surprise

The apartment is spacious and perfect for a large group of friends. We particularly liked the swimming pool and that each room had private access to its own bathroom. The washing machine was a great plus. Overall we would return for the price, the comfort and the large space available.

Bathrooms did not have a sink, and the kitchen had very little tools to cook properly. The hosts are very helpful, polite, respectful, nice and welcoming, but maybe "too much" present (eg. Coming to check on us/the house every night).

We had the most amazing time at this villa! Our group of 7 friends spent a few days here, and it was perfect. The villa itself is beautiful, and the location is fantastic. What really made this trip unforgettable, though, was the owner. He is by far the kindest person we've ever met. He let us stay until late since our flight was at night, and even allowed us to store our luggage at his place. He was always available to help with any questions we had and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. After we left, he checked in to make sure everything was okay, asked if we arrived safely at the airport, and if we caught our flight. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who asks!

We loved tour stay at this property. It is is situated in a quiet local residential area of Weligamma, away from the tourist hotspots. All the local people are so kind and welcoming and it gave us an opportunity to really have an insight into Sri Lankan life. The host at this property could not do enough for us, helping us with day trips, tuk-tuks, shopping, everything. We were also invited into their home to enjoy a beautiful Sri Lanka lunch with their whole family. it was delicious! Also as it was the beginning of Ramadan whilst we were there they also brought soup around for us each evening which was so kind :-) The apartment itself is clean and tidy with a traditional Sri Lankan kitchen and bathrooms. There is air con in all the bedrooms and big ceiling fans in the communal areas to help keep you comfortable. The swimming pool was a real bonus for us and we used it every day with our children. The walk to the beaches and restaurants is around 15 minutes through 'little India' This area can be very busy so if you prefer not to tackle this its a 5 minute ride in tuk tuk which costs around 500 slr. I highly recommend Mahesh, he was trustworthy and fair with his prices and really helpful. Tel (077-2871893) We really enjoyed 'little India' with its bustling shops, food and tailors. (If you need anything made go and see Rafi and New Top Mark he is excellent.) Over all our stay was perfect and can only thank Husain, Zenid and their family for all of their kind attention and help. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay.

An amazing stay! The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The villa was well-equipped with great amenities, and the pool was simply fantastic—perfect for relaxation. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!!

We felt being a part of a family, each bedroom had an AC and its own bathroom, good neighborhood around with shops, seafood and beaches. Easy to go surfing, fishing, swimming on a beach suitable for kids or stay at the pool and watch beautiful birds around.
