Everything we could of wanted. Perfect location next to the loch, the house is well equipped and comfortable. Look forward to coming again in the near future. The host Tim was very good with communication and went out of his way to get as much helpful Information for us as we were fishing the Loch.

Could do with more chairs in the kitchen for our size of party

No condiments were provided. No salt, pepper. No dish cloth for drying dishes. The bathroom needs a place to put soap, shampoo etc. Nice big tub but nowhere to place or access soap while in it. Parking is sketchy. Had to clear garbage away from parking area to fit car in. Lots of broken glass lying about. Instructions were posted on the walls at various locations around the house. Recommend putting all instructions into a binder. The cutlery, dishes, pots and pans are all very old and cheap.

The location was ideal for exploring the island.

Quirkiness of it! Huge lots of space and fascinating surroundings of barns, a loch etc. close to shop that was a bonus. All the views from every window. Lovely big very equipped kitchen, bathroom was big n modern too superb bath. Lovely artwork everywhere. When we needed advice and help from the owner on ferry issues he was so helpful and kind and understanding even though we didn't meet him we had contact by text,phone etc! Sanday is a beautiful chilled and relaxed island and castle hill just adds to it. Comfy beds, space very private and facilities all what you needed. I would certainly stay there again and very near to port too!!!

Shower plug upstairs maybe blocking up and shower tray very shallow so U must be careful water doesn't run out. But other than that perfect . 👍
