Dockside Aparthotel, Best Western Signature Collection

What a gem of a place. Location was amazing and staff were just next level and a credit to Best Western

Shower slippy (needs a mat or grip tile) and maybe not a fire alarm at half 1 in the morning.

Clean, modern, 2 bathrooms, next to the arena, loads of restaurants nearby, shopping centre 5 mins away, Tesco and m&s close.

Could of done with a bigger bin in the kitchen, no bin in the ensuite at all , and oven would of been good.

This property was lovely and clean and situated right where we needed to be.

Horrible smell when we first went into the room. Like a blocked drain. Floor in lounge lifting and causing me to trip. Uncomfortable bed

Very pleasant overall, lovely view, great value £156 for a 2 bed apartment. Speedy check in / check out, lovely staff, ideal for M&S Arena.

On entry there was a smell of drains which cleared by morning. The extractor fan in the walk in shower and heated towel rail did not work which I later discovered is controlled by reception. There was no cover on the ironing board. The toilet seats were way too high, my feet hardly touched the floor and im 5ft 10. We had to move the bed as I could not get past the wardrobe. Whoever installed the electric heater behind the wardrobe has obviously never seen a spirit level (See photo) The other bedroom had a weird tiny ensuite with no door and it was so tiny, that if you had a shower, it would soak the sink & toilet.

The staff member in the morning was very rude, said we hadn’t order breckfast as it wasn’t in the system, asked him to look at my reservation then he says you calling me a liar! Very unprofessional which is a shame as the two ladies that checked us in the day before couldn’t be more helpful! We then had to walk into town for breckfast, still upset the way we were spoken to by Peter we passed the hotel and popped in their were another staff member present at this time and she apologised, while again Peter was being rude he was told to apologise his behaviour and attitude was appalling and shouldn’t be working their
