Gardener's Cottage

A beautiful place to rest our heads on the long journey south. The garden area was a great hit with the kids who had been stuck in the car all day. Quiet, cosy and definitely good value for money.

Gardeners cottage was delightful, it’s a magical cottage in the woods. So tranquil and peaceful, all you can hear is the bees and the birds. A cosy comfortable little cottage…definitely going to book another stay.

There’s Absolutely nothing that we disliked about the property.

Nothing, everything was perfect .

The whole thing was a dream. A beautiful cottage with a lounge that smelt evocatively of the history of all of the log fires burnt in the fireplace, the walled garden and the bluebell woods all to oneself.

The shampoo bottle was empty, but even as I discovered that around 10pm, Victoria answered my texts and delivered both shampoo and conditioner first thing in the morning. The toilet seat is wobbly, but able to be balanced 😅 Honestly minor things for such a beautiful stay.

This is a hidden treasure just 1h away from our home. The boys and us loved the Secret Garden. From a Fairy Tale.

Amazing location, really quiet and peaceful. Beautiful walled garden. It's extremely cosy and we had a lovely time in freezing weather! Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.
