After we checked out, my wife realized she left a sweater in the side entrance ladies room. When she called, I believe it was a woman named Rochelle, went and searched for it, found it and sent it back to us. That felt over and above.

The room we were I. Had a very small bathroom.

I chose the Fredonia Hotel based on a Lonely Planet recommendation, describing it as a renovated yet retro 1955 hotel in the historic center. While the location is convenient and parking is straightforward, the positive aspects end there.

The staff is friendly, but the hotel itself is in need of updates. The elevator, hallways, and rooms all feel worn and neglected. The windows are thin, leading to significant condensation and a lack of fresh air, which makes the room feel stuffy. Additionally, the safe’s batteries needed replacing, and while there’s a coffee machine, there’s no kettle available. There’s also no clothes rack. Overall, the hotel is pretty overpriced and needs a renovation - ideally preserving the retro vibe, but with modern comforts.

Good location. Nice shower. That's about it!

Closed restaurants early so we had to go out looking for food on first night. Room wasn't small, it was tiny! Bed in one corner was about 6" from a wall corner that stuck out into the room.

Pretty hip place- cool theme, cool bar, some nice looking restaurants, great location, easy parking.

Little pricey for the room I had.. room wan clean overall, but there were some psots missed, and mostly a moldy smell and stained carpet from what looks like a drainage issue. Even without that, price still a bit high I think.

the 50's look and vibe was very nostalgic for me

The bed in our room was comfortable. But the room was very small! Could not walk to other side of bed without hitting knees on the corner of bed. This is no one’s fault (staff member) at the property. Just want to point out the only possible improvement. Everything else was perfect!
