Rowan Bank Retreat

The property was immaculate and very thoughtfully presented. The bed was super comfy. Seems like an unusual thing to comment on but the shower wash, bedding and towels all smelt lovely! The touch to leave milk in the fridge and few treats was again, a touch which showed care and attention and was much appreciated. Altogether, I’d highly recommend and will definitely book again if I visit this part of the world in the future. Thanks so much for a lovely few days.

The whole place was spotless and well thought out. All you needed was there. Lovely peaceful location. Perfect.

The rain!!!

Place was great very clean had everything you need .very comfortable bed .nicely decorated great location with good views very peaceful and quiet Great stay.

The fact I had to leave..😅

Met by owner, Stephen. I arrived as a walker during an exceptionally wet period. He kindly drove me to the Spar shop in Spean Bridge to pick up foods for my 3 night stay. Let me dry tent in his shed too.

Nothing to fault. A comment about access as a walker is that there is no need to walk down the busy A road to gain entry to the driveway. Instead walk across the fields from the canal towpath to the West, or from the forest track to the East.

Lovely cosy little cabin, very quiet although near the main Fort William to Inverness Road. Absolutely spotless and everything looked immaculate and new. Nice little touches of sweets and lived Hamish the highland cow cuddly doorstop 😃🐮🐮

Nothing

There were lots of nice little touches like a box of chocolate fingers and a bag of cola cubes. The shower had good pressure. It's a cosy little place with enough of an overhang from the roof so you can sit out even if it's raining. Also, a great amount of privacy.

The only downsides were the midges and the rain.

The stay was excellent and everywhere was exceptional. Off the beaten track, which is what we wanted. Also, it is near enough for all the local attractions and amenities. The host couldn't do more for us. Everything was perfect.

We enjoyed everything. There is nothing to dislike.

Great communication with hosts. Wonderfully located between the sheep and nature. It's not very big, but it's perfectly comfortable and modern. Everything functioned well.

Google Maps did not bring us to the right location. It might be useful to describe the address better.
